NAVIGATING THE MAZE OF DOCTOR/PATIENT/FAMILY COMMUNICATION
AS IT APPLIES TO SUICIDAL CONCERNS AND MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES
March 23, 2016 at 7:00 PM at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak Michigan
What is the role of the family, friend, school system, caretaker/advocate
doctor and patient when seeking help? The hospital and out-patient setting
as it applies to the many areas of illness that could occur will be addressed.
SPECIFIC, POWERFUL TOOLS WILL BE PRESENTED IN ORDER TO PIECE THIS PUZZLE TOGETHER.
This program is presented by SIFT- Suicidal Ideation Family Teams and AMI-Alliance for the Mentally Ill, Oakland County. Together we make a difference.

The date will be March 23, 2016 at 7:00 PM at Beaumont Hospital Administration Center.
Address and Directions: 3601 W. 13 MILE ROAD, ROYAL OAK, MI. 48073, 248-898-5000 (Just West of Woodward). Coming East on 13 Mile Road, when you come to the Beaumont Hospital Complex, the very first light which is at the very beginning of the complex is John Poole Drive. Turn R. Follow the road around to the back. You will note it curves to the left. Continue on the curve and at the next Left you will see the South Parking Lot Garage. Parking is free. After parking, proceed across the street to the Administration Building and go to the right when you enter the building. There will be signs directing you to the auditorium where the panel discussion will be held. (Going West on 13 Mile Rd. you proceed past the entrances to the light at the beginning of the complex, John Poole Drive and Turn in and continue on.)
